Here's a wonderful site for looking for rhymes. I've used it for Using Words You Know, and for finding "challenge" words for spelling tests (using the word wall words.) It also allows you to find the definition, synonyms, and antonyms of the word you are rhyming. It breaks the results into 1 syllable, 2 syllable, etc. words. Very cool!  http://www.rhymezone.com/

Bats are one of my favorite little critters! I have a page devoted to them: http://phantasm.msspro.com/bat.html   Lots of links there. This page is for teachers: http://www.schools.ash.org.au/hillview/currstell.htm  I use the computer version of Stelluna by Janell Cannon http://www.classsource.com/page.asp?query=BRO502  with the classroom computer and concentrate more on their being nocturnal instead of hibernating. Lots of things do not hibernate in Florida, so that is a brief lesson for us. I could send you my full lesson plan if you are interested? Bats are very important to us because of the amount of mosquitoes they eat. AND there are so many misconceptions about the bat. I try to "UNteach" those. Let me know about the lesson plan... I will dig it up for you. Have fun!
